Echter, gebaseerd op het aantal bezoeken van deze films en de daarbij horende ticketprijs toentertijd, is het zeer aannemelijk dat de totale box office van deze films lager is dan deze top 25. Op de genoemde bedragen is geen inflatiecorrectie toegepast.
